Four tracks. One underlying framework.

AFTER ZERO operates across publishing, screen, speaking, and press — built from a single underlying framework. Each track is open to direct, qualified inquiry.

"What I did has another name."

Most people who face catastrophe lose one thing at a time. On February 15, 2004, I lost everything simultaneously — the body, the business, the finances, the legal standing, the relationships, and the sense of self that had survived every previous displacement. What followed was not recovery. Recovery is what you do when something has been temporarily disturbed. What I did has another name. — From the Prologue

Tony Yarijanian — Guinness World Records® title holder
Guinness World Records® · Title Holder

Author, speaker, and Guinness World Records® title holder. The architect of AFTER ZERO.

Born in Tehran to a Russian mother and an English father who did not remain in his life. Adopted and raised by an Armenian family. Boarding schools in India. Displacement through Pakistan. A life rebuilt in Norway, then rebuilt again in California — a forty-six-year arc across five countries and three continents.

On February 15, 2004, an explosion at a small business in California left him with burns to more than 90% of his body. He was hospitalized at Grossman Burn Centers and placed in a medically induced coma for three months. Across the years that followed, his medical and reconstructive journey has included more than 168 surgical procedures, and he was certified by Guinness World Records® for surviving burns to more than 90% of his body. AFTER ZERO is the documented account of the larger arc — and the framework it produced.
